On Display.....

Do you ever notice the display cases when you come to the library?  The cases are located just inside the main entrances to the library and always have unique items from people in and around our community.  This month we have wonderful Snoopy and Garfield collectibles for your viewing pleasure.  Thanks to the owners of these collections for sharing this amazing memorabilia with us!

Updated January Calendar

Please notice that Tuesday's storytime on January 21st has been moved to Friday of that week.  This is because new carpet is being installed in the story-hour room this weekend.

For Ages 5-8

New Art Material Coming Soon!

New art material is on its way to the children's department!  This is all thanks to an LSTA grant.  Look for our art display within the next couple of months.  

Book Babies 2014

A special time for babies and toddlers to share stories, songs, rhymes and games with their grown-ups.  Come play with us in the community room of the Decatur Public Library!

(class meets each Wednesday throughout the year with the exception of only a few dates.  Check the library's schedule for more details)
